Gauge Workshop

Tuesday June 24^th  6pm-8pm   $25

Is the sweater too tight?  Do the socks sag?  This may be the workshop for you.  Learn the importance of knitting a gauge swatch and how to select the right needles for you yarn and knitting style.  You will be given a supply & homework list when you sign up for the class.

Moebius Knitting –   $30

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner

            Moebius Knitting is knitting in the style of Cat Bordhi.  You will knit a basket with a unique cast on, a handle that is knit from the center out.  Using a waste yarn you will “punch a hole” in your handle to the knit the basket.

Slip Stitch Mosaic Triangle Hat  -  $25

Skill Level: Advance Beginner

            Learn a technique that is easier than it looks.  You will knit a hat that only looks complicated.  After this workshop, you will amaze your friends & family with this beautiful hat.

Double Knitting   -   $25

Skill – Advance Beginner

            Reversible style of knitting both sides are the “front side” just the opposite – what’s light on one side is dark on the other.  Double knitting is twice as thick as regular knit, this makes excellent potholders, coasters, etc.  It doesn’t end there – double knitting makes wonderful scarves, warm baby blankets, hats, etc.  The project for this class is a cotton potholder.
