We are a mother/daughter owned yarn shop located in the heart of Burien, WA.  Our hope is that all knitters, crocheters and fiber artists will feel welcome in our shop.  If you aren't yet a knitter, stop by and see what all the fuss is about.  Please feel free to drop by anytime and knit.  We have a comfortable sitting area for all to use.

ABout Bonnie

Knitting seems to have been a big part of  my life for a long time.  I started knitting at the age of six and I have been clicking needles together ever since.

While knitting , I have managed to have four children and eight grandchildren. Knitting while waiting for the grandchildren was a whole lot easier than with the children.  Although I do remember that when my second oldest was born forty years ago, I was able to knit my sister and afghan while I was in the hospital.

Owing a yarn shop was always my dream and now, with Beth's help, my dream has come true.

Now that the dream is a reality, the work part has set in.  Oh well, it was never my plan to retire.

I have been knitting for a little over 5 years and crocheting since I was a little girl.  I have 3 children and a wonderful, supportive husband.  Most days you will find my daughters at the shop "helping".  We refer to them as our "small staff".

My favorite thing to do is knit.  I love to crochet but after my carpal tunnel it gets a bit tricky to do it for very long.

Aside from knitting, I love to spend time with my kids, read great books, watch football and NASCAR (go JR) and visit with friends.  Much further down on my list of fun (not so much) cooking, cleaning and running errands.
